Privacy Policy

Kharonte Social Studio is a desktop tool that runs locally on the computer of the person who operates it. It is used by one individual, the operator of the studio's own TikTok account (@kharonteappdev), to send the studio's own videos to that account. It is not offered to the public and has no other users.

Who this policy is for

The only user of the tool is its operator, who is also the owner of the connected TikTok account. No personal data of other people is collected, because no other people use the tool.

What data is accessed

• TikTok OAuth tokens (access token and refresh token) for the operator's own account, obtained through Login Kit with the scopes user.info.basic, video.upload and video.publish.
• Basic account information returned by TikTok (display name, account identifier and the creator settings available for posting, such as the privacy options), used only to show which account is connected and to present the posting options.
• Video files and captions prepared by the operator on their own computer.

What data is not accessed

• No data about other TikTok users.
• No followers, comments, messages or analytics of other accounts.
• No contact lists, location data or device identifiers.

How data is used

Only to connect the operator's own account and to send the video, caption and settings that the operator selected and confirmed for each post. Data is not used for advertising, profiling, analytics or any other purpose.

Where data is stored and who receives it

Tokens, video files and captions are stored in local files on the operator's own computer. The tool has no server and no database, and it does not send data to anyone other than TikTok, to which it sends the video and the post settings the operator confirmed. No data is sold, shared or disclosed to any other third party.

Retention and deletion

Data stays on the operator's computer until the operator deletes it. The operator can disconnect the account inside the tool, which removes the stored tokens, and can revoke the tool's access at any time from TikTok's app permission settings. Deleting the tool's folder removes all locally stored data.

Security

The local web page listens only on the operator's own computer. Tokens and client credentials are kept in files that are readable only by the operator and are never shown in the page or committed to any repository.

Children

The tool is not directed at children and is not used by anyone other than its operator.

This policy may be updated; the current version is always the one published on this page.
